You’re invited! If you are school aged, you can enter our regional schools orienteering festival. Plenty of training opportunities to learn and practice your orienteering skills are available in the weeks before the festival.

What you need:  Sense of sportsmanship and fun. Clothing according to the weather conditions, footwear suitable for activity, a compass if you have one.

Courses: Available for all navigation capabilities according to year at school: white (beginner), yellow (beyond beginner), orange (intermediate), and red-level (advanced).

How to enter: Enter your school HERE by midnight, Friday 30 August 2019.
Schools should enter their own students and there is no limit to the number. If a school is not entering students, a parent may enter students directly.
Students in Year 8 and below may compete in a pair in Standard grade for that year. Enter your pair as individuals and then email a list of the children you have entered who will compete in pairs.

Cost: Entry fees will be $12 per student per day. Enter by the deadline and avoid a 50% late entry fee!

Training Opportunity: 8 training events are being held at different venues at 4pm on weekdays. See the 2019 Schools Training page for more info.
