What you need:  Sense of sportsmanship and fun. Clothing according to the weather conditions, footwear suitable for activity, a compass if you have one.

Courses: Available for all navigation capabilities according to year at school: white (beginner), yellow (beyond beginner), orange (intermediate), and red-level (advanced).

 

Cost: Entry fees will be $12 per student per day. Enter by the deadline and avoid a 50% late entry fee!

Training Opportunity: 8 training events are being held at different venues at 4pm on weekdays. See the 2019 Schools Training page for more info. 

Public Races: Enjoy a casual romp/race around one of the courses used for the 2019 Canterbury Schools Orienteering Festival.
Register on the day and grab a map to start yourself off at the punch start (no timed starts).
$5 + $3 Sportident hire (free for helpers).
Starts from about 2.30-3pm, course closure at 3.30pm (both days).
