NZ Orienteering Champs. Easter 2025: Fri 18th- Mon 21st April

PAPO welcomes orienteers from across New Zealand (and overseas!) to NZ National Orienteering Champs 2025 in Canterbury.
NZOC 2025 will involve 4 events (Sprint, Middle, Long, Relay), one each day over Easter weekend, Fri 18th- Mon 21st April.

As at July-2023 we are confirming landowner permissions and expect most or all of the events to be on new maps. Details will be updated here once permissions are confirmed. 

• The Sprint will be held in Christchurch city. It is expected that this will be run on Good Friday afternoon (pending confirmation of permissions).
• The Long, Middle and Relay will be held on Saturday-Monday on terrain to the North of Christchurch. These locations are within 90 mins drive of Christchurch airport and will be accessed from SH1.

Those looking for accommodation recommendations should either stay in Christchurch and drive to the events each day or book something closer in the Amberly area.
