Xmas event - The Groynes.
Sprint-distance courses at all difficulty levels will allow some fast racing around the lakes at The Groynes. All welcome, courses available for all experience levels including beginners. There is still a lot of surface water, so expect to get wet feet. Note that as the courses are sprint distance, we will have a shorter than normal start window from 11am-12pm.

There will be a BBQ available for people to cook food, including leftover sausages from fundraising earlier this year (sausages, onions and sauce will be available. BYO bread, salad and drinks). We will be accepting donations to help Nelson teenager Isaac Pawley who is currently undergoing Chemo in Christchurch after becoming gravely ill at the Hillary Challenge (https://isaac-pawley-virtual-o-event.lilregie.com).
We plan to have an orienteering maze set up for a fun run after your main course.

End-of -year prizegiving will be around 1pm, we will be presenting the 2022 trophies for the OY series, most improved orienteers and volunteer awards.
