Haere mai! You’re invited to the Canterbury Schools Orienteering Festival 2021.

     Canterbury schools orienteering festival details     

Day 2 format: Find all the controls in order over a longer distance (1-5.5km). Punch the start and finish, and every control in numerical order on your course. Harder courses will have longer legs with more route finding and navigation.
Day 2 terrain: Pine Forest. Easier courses will use tracks through the forest, harder courses will have off-track controls.
Event area: The event will be in Bottle Lake forest, north-east of Christchurch. Driving directions will be provided nearer the time.
Entries: Entries are now closed. Sorry no late entries can be accepted due to running the event in Level 2.
Cost: $10 per child per day. Includes hire of a Sportident stick/dibber.
Start times, competitive and fun grades: Your start time will be pre-allocated. You will have been sent an email with your start time exact between 1.30pm and 3:30pm. 10.30am and 12pm.

Coaching opportunity: Training events will be held at different venues at 4pm on weekdays on the 4 weeks leading up to the event. See https://papo.org.nz/events/view/3975.
