V. I. P. Card
The club has no employees to mount our events for us so we rely on members to volunteer. Volunteers are rewarded with VIP points for helping, planning, controlling or convening events. The points accumulate towards free event entries.
Volunteers also experience the camaraderie of working in a focused team and get the satisfaction of putting on great events for their fellow members.
So here’s the deal!!
Once you’ve gained enough points you are rewarded with a V.I.P. Card.

For every ten points accumulated you’ll receive a V.I.P. Card entitling you to four free event entries (excluding Championship events, Rogaines)
The cards/free entries are fully transferable, so they can be used by other members of your household or you can use them for introducing your friends to orienteering for example.

THE SMALL PRINT
(1) Points are not transferable between volunteers.
(2) VIP Cards are valid for up to two years after issue.
(3) Points for positions outside Committee will be determined by the Committee on an annual basis.
(4) The Committee has discretion to amend/make additions to the points system.
(5) Planners and controllers of OY events also receive 25 OY points.
