Summer Sprint Series 2016

This is a series of evening sprint events held over consecutive Tuesday nights in February and March. These are always fun and are planned by some of the up and coming club juniors.

The series also incorporates an inter-school challenge to find the top sprint orienteering school in Canterbury.

On each night registration will be from 5:30pm with starts between 6:00pm and 7:00pm. Course closure (the time that you must come back to the finish even if you have not completed the course) is 8pm.

Courses:

• Short beginner (1 – 1.5 km)
• Medium (approx 2 km)
• Long and challenging (approx 2.5 km)

Costs (per night):

• Senior (over 20): $10
• Junior (20 or younger): $5
• SI Card hire: $2 (discounted for the sprint series - usually $3)

Note: There will be a $5 surcharge for those who enter on the night (Senior $15, Junior $10 - including SI Card hire)
