Sprint Christchurch Day - Sun 6th Sept

This is a fun training day for experienced orienteers. The last event at Rudolf Steiner School will include a course open to all comers, including less experienced orienteers.

Rudolf Steiner Open Course (open to anyone)

Enter on the day from 2:30 pm. Last start will be 3:30. You must finish the course by 4:00. Enter Rudolf Steiner School via Ombersley Tce.

Cost: adult $12 / junior $6 (family max $25). Includes the Grid.

Sprint Christchurch Day Courses (for experienced orienteers)

The first 3 events will have no electronic timing. They are designed as warmups before the Rudolf Steiner 4 Person Head to Head Finale. The timetable for the day is:

• 10:30 - Cashmere High School (enter via Barrington St)


• 12:00 - Thorrington School (enter via Colombo St)


• 1:00 - St Martins Primary School (enter via Albert Tce)


• 2:00 - Rudolf Steiner School (enter via Ombersley Tce, not Hansens Park)

Note: There will be no toilets at Cashmere High School. The nearest toilet to Thorrington is at South Library (300m north on Colombo St). The nearest toilet at St Martins is in Hansens Park (500m north via Armstrong Ave), which is next to Rudolf Steiner School.
