Tekapo Social and Training event! 20th August

After the event in Timaru on Saturday 20th August come and stay in Tekapo and you can join PAPO for a social and training event on the Saturday night.
BYO dinner to the Lake Tekapo Community Hall. After you have eaten there will be a number of short presentations/discussions focusing on skills that will be useful for those planning to attend World Masters/Oceania next year. Topics covered may include:
- Orienteering at big international events. What is different to a local event?
- Important skills for the maps and terrain to be used at World Masters/Oceania
- Physical training for a specific event
Come along to the hall anytime from 5:30pm with the aim of eating dinner before the presentations start at 7:30pm.
BYO food and drink and cutlery.
