MTBO OY. McLeans Island.

Mountain bike orienteering event on the McLeans Island map.

The event will use orienteering courses (i.e. it will not be rogaine format). 

There will be something to suit everyone, from beginners to experts. Includes easy courses for those who are new to the sport and would like to give it a go. All welcome! Event suitable for the whole family.

Entries: Enter on the day (assuming we are at alert level 1).  
Travel directions: McLeans Island road from SH1 just north of he airport. Follow signs to McLeans Island Recreation Area. 
Parking: Main carpark at McLeans Recreation Area.
Start location: Adjacent to parking.
Registration: from 10am
Start times: 10.30am - 12.30pm
Course closure: 2.30pm
Costs: Standard PAPO event costs apply see here.
Dogs: Dogs under effective control are allowed.

This event is part of the PAPO OY series, with OY points awarded to PAPO club members. To ensure you get awarded OY points in the correct category, please enter as follows:

• If you normally run Red Long/Red Medium at OY events; enter the Long Distance course.
• If you normally run Red Short/Orange at OY events; enter the Medium Distance course.
• If you normally run Yellow/White at OY events; enter the Short Distance course.
