SOW day 6. Spencer Park - Long Distance.

Southern O-Week 2021 is being held in the same week that was planned for Oceania 2021.
All events will have the usual six courses offered at club event (white, yellow, orange, red short, red medium, red long).
Something to suit everyone, from beginners to experts. Includes easy courses for those who are new to the sport and would like to give it a go. All welcome! Event suitable for the whole family.

The Spencer Park map is a coastal forest with intricate sand dune terrain. An opportunity for the rest of NZ to experience this map that's familiar to Canterbury based orienteers,

Entries: Entries are now closed
Travel directions: Follow orienteering signs form Spencerville. Camping and accommodation options available at Spencer Beach Holiday park.  
Registration: from 10am.  Registration is only required for competitors picking-up sportident cards for hire.
Start times: 10.30am - 12.30pm
Course closure: 2.30pm

Dogs: Dogs under effective control are allowed.

Child mindingA couple of PAPO parents will run a creche at the Spencer Park Long distance event to help parents with the mass starts. If you can also help, with your time, useful items, toys or even a spare easy-up tent, please email Mel on meanieb1@gmail.com in advance.
