Bottle Lake MTBO OY

Local MTBO at Bottle Lake on the Friday of show weekend. There will be three courses to choose from. It includes easy courses for those who are new to orienteering and biking and would like to give it a go. Event suitable for everyone; beginners, families and experienced MTBO. Orienteering experience isn’t essential, but it is good to as ask for a bit of advice if this is your first time reading an orienteering map. 

Entries: Enter on the day (assuming we are at alert level 1).  

Travel directions: The event is based at the main Bottle Lake entrance off Waitikiri Drive.

Start location: Adjacent to parking (TBC).

Registration: from 10am

Start times: 10.30am - 12.30pm

Course closure: 2.30pm

This event is part of the PAPO OY series, with OY points awarded to PAPO club members. To ensure you get awarded OY points in the correct category, please enter as follows:

• If you normally run Red Long/Red Medium at OY events; enter the Long Distance course.
• If you normally run Red Short/Orange at OY events; enter the Medium Distance course.
• If you normally run Yellow/White at OY events; enter the Short Distance course.
