Sprint Training (UCOC and PAPO members only)

In preparation for the sprinting marathon set to take place soon in the North Island, some higher level sprint training is on offer next Sunday 19th Jan. The exercises are aimed at and will suit orange level and up, but will be achievable by experienced yellow orienteers. No white training on offer sorry. There will not be any markers out at the controls. No payment expected. 

Meeting at 10am in the Hansens Park carpark for two main exercises. The first one will be a series of mass start intervals (or individual ones) to help you prepare for the sprint relay at Lonely Mountains. The second one will be a knockout sprint with three rounds. Even non-elites who won’t get to race the Knockout Sprint at Lonely Mountains can race this one, which will use the exciting ‘choose your own split’ method of forking.
