Diamond Harbour (Christmas event). Followed by social picnic* and the 2020 end-of-year prize-giving.

All welcome! Event suitable for the whole family.

Entries: Enter on the day (assuming we are at alert level 1).  

Travel directions: Drive through Charteris bay to Diamond Harbour, catch the ferry from Lyttleton (or kayak).

Courses: There will be four courses (white, yellow, short red, and long red). The red courses are short, so winning times should be around 40 minutes.

Terrain: A mixture of mature pine forest, park areas, historic buildings and amenity plantings. Courses also include some intricate vegetation and rock features.

Parking: There is limited car parking close to the event centre, so be prepared to carry gear from nearby car parks or streets.

Start location: The event centre is the Stoddart Point Car park (Stoddard's Road off Waipapa Ave) above the ferry terminus in Diamond Harbour; 

Registration: from 10am

Start times: 10.30am - 12.30pm

Course closure: 2.30pm

*Sausages: Bring spare cash so you can relax and re-charge after the last event of 2020.  Scott Smith has offered to cook us a sausage and collect donations for the Rod Donald Trust.
