The PAPO 2020 events start with an orienteering event on Quail Island.

Pre-registration has now closed.

Entry on the day 

Entry on the day is available but you will need to arrange your own transport to Quail Island.
As at 6pm Thursday 30th, there are still places available on the Sunday 10.20am ferry bookable directly with Black Cat blackcat.co.nz
If you would like to camp, organise a ferry on Saturday and turn up, the 3.10pm ferry has lots of places that are not available via the website, but bookable if you phone Black Cat.

Black Cat have given PAPO a discounted price: Adult $25, Child $15, Gold Card $20, Under 5 Free.
Unfortunately this discount is only available to those paying cash on the day.

Return ferries on Sunday:
There will be return ferries at 3.30pm and at 4.15pm on Sunday.
Some people will need to take the 3.30pm as we won't all fit on last one!

Camping

Camping available overnight on Saturday night, come anytime on Saturday to make a weekend of it. Camping is at Whakamaru beach and is a basic DOC site with a Christchurch reticulated water supply and flush toilets. There is a large building at the beach that would be useful shelter in the case of bad weather. Best of all, the camping is free! PAPO has booked the whole camping area.

Event centre will based at the camping area at Whakamaru beach.

Start times from 11.30am.

A full range of orienteering courses will be available: White, Yellow, Orange, Red short, Red Med, Red Long. The the grass is really long – gaiters are recommended.
