Welcome to OY2 for 2016 hosted at Lake Coleridge Station. Please see below for some important information on the event.

Courses: Long, Middle and Short red courses as well as Orange, Yellow and White courses available
Start Times:  11:00 - 1:00 pm
Course Closure: 2:30 pm
Training: Jan and Jean will be offering some tips on using your compass at 11:00am. Meet near registration.

Getting there:  Acheron - Lake Coleridge Station. We will be setting up the start area in the paddock at the south end of the map located off Homestead Road, Lake Coleridge. Follow the PAPO signs from the turn off from Coleridge Rd onto Homestead Rd. The turn off into the map is not long after the road changes to gravel and in the bottom of the gully.

Driving/ car pooling:  Please note that the access track is relatively steep - if you are concerned about your 2WD vehicle or if you are uncomfortable with driving off road then we recommend you catch a lift with a four wheel drive. In fairness to the landowner if you can combine a ride with someone else then please do so to reduce the tracking on the farmland.

There is an information map board approximately 2km from the turn off to the start which might be a good place to catch a lift with someone if you would like to hitch a ride.

Parking:  Once you ascend the access track the landscape opens to a plateau - please park in this area only - there will be a short walk to the caravan and finish area. From there it is a short walk to the starting area.

Duck Shooting:  As it is opening duck shooting weekend on the 7th and 8th of May please be aware there may be some shooting taking place within the vicinity of the map - No controls are near the pond however please take notice and adhere to the out of bounds zone which have been mapped accordingly. We assume however there will unlikely be many ducks left by 11am on day 2 of shooting so  we don't believe there will be too much activity to worry about.

Registration:  At the caravan located up the hill from the parking area

Cost:  See  here
