Corsair is a beautiful pocket beach behind the Port Hills with lovely views to the Harbour. Complete with a pontoon to swim to, its a very popular CHCH swimming spot and it's nice and sheltered.. The beach and is mostly made up of shell and rock, so if you have sensitive feet, take your reef shoes or jandals for beach wear. There are shells and crabs for young children to find and a pirate ship playground. There are lovely views to the Harbour. Bring a picnic - there is no café here unless you head to Lyttelton.

Terrain: This is a bush-covered reserve with tracks throughout which can be steep in places, .
