The idea of the score event will be to get all 30 controls in as short a time as possible. This is orienteering on speed for the fast runners, but you can make your own challenge, as the route and number of checkpoints to visit is up to each competitor. The winner is the runner who completes the course in the fastest time. Maps will be handed out at the start, all planning is in race time. Score event may be started early or late with course closure at 2pm, later start options are for anyone who can't make the 11am start for any reason (such as child minding whilst partner runs, after kids sport etc. )
Registration open: from 10am (at the western end of the carpark by Victoria lake)
Mass start: for score event at 11am. Score event may be started early or late with course closure at 2pm
Starts for white (beginner) courses: after 10.30
